Judge Robert (Bob) Lovell celebrated his 98th birthday surrounded by friends, fellow judges, and attorneys from around the county last Wednesday, March 27th. The event was held at the Hennessey Mercantile, where lunch was served, and they enjoyed a homemade cake.
After practicing law in Hennessey for five years, Lovell decided to run for public office in 1978 and was elected to four terms—sixteen years—as Kingfisher County Judge. Lovell retired in 1994 and now resides in Enid.
