Do You Want S’more Easy Snack Recipes?
Hope you didn’t make a New Year’s Resolution to not eat sweets! This cold snap has us feelin’ snacky and looking for recipes our kids can help with to pass some time… I mean, spend quality time together making precious memories and yummy snacks. This recipe is a winner because you get the deliciousness of s’mores without having to build a campfire or endure the mess of graham cracker crumbs and sticky marshmallow getting everywhere while trying to eat it! We know there are some of yall out there that enjoy the mess and the whole experience, which is great! Power to ya, sisters! This recipe can still be for you as a party favor or to fill the void between campfires.
Place ingredients in a large bowl in the following order:
- 2c. Mini Marshmallows
- 6 c. Golden Grahams (name brand is best — generic has a lot of extra sugar & cinnamon)
- 8 cubes of Chocolate Almond Bark
Melt the chocolate cubes then pour over cereal (marshmallows need to be under cereal in case you got the cubes too hot)
Gently toss until evenly covered then pour out on wax or parchment paper.
*For the Dark Chocolate version use 1 ½ cups dark chocolate melting chips.
**If you can’t find melting chips use 1 bag of Dark Chocolate chips & 2 or 3 cubes of chocolate Almond Bark. This batch needs to be stored in the refrigerator.
