Starting on Thursday night and continuing into Friday morning (Friday, October 6th) The Hennessey Water Department worked through the overnight hours to make two waterline repairs. Town administrator Tiffany Tillman said, “We needed to turn off all the water so we had an opportunity to make one large repair and one smaller one.” The large repair was at the corner of N. Arapaho and W. Iowa St. where they repaired a large “T”.
The second location was in front of the Police station where they installed a new shut-off valve. The water was turned off town-wide at 11: pm and the repairs took about 4 hours.
