The Hennessey Early Childhood students participated in International Dot Day Thursday, September 15th. This celebration is inspired by the book โThe Dot,โ a story about a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her abilities by being brave enough to โmake her mark.โ What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing, which has inspired countless children and adults around the globe.
Hennessey students created a giant dot on the playground for a photo and then made their own art created from dots.ย
