Each week, the Hennessey POST will feature a member of the Hennessey Fire Department, sharing their stories, what inspired them to join the fire service, and some of the accomplishments and experiences they’ve had along the way.
Randy Gregory joined the Hennessey Fire Department in 2024 and is already building strong connections with his fellow firefighters while serving the community. Originally from Dover, Oklahoma, Gregory graduated in 2007 and currently owns Gregory’s tire shop.
Gregory said he joined the fire department for one simple reason, “To fight fires.” He currently serves as a firefighter and has already completed Firefighter 1 training.
One of his favorite parts of the fire service is the camaraderie shared among the department members, saying he enjoys “hanging with my brothers.” Outside of the department, Gregory enjoys spending time hunting.
As one of the newer members of the Hennessey Fire Department, Gregory is continuing to train and serve alongside the crew while helping protect the community.
