Kim Gritz is a dedicated science teacher at Hennessey who is highly committed to her students. She spends most of her time conducting engaging science experiments in her indoor or outdoor classrooms throughout the school year.
So it’s no surprise that Kim was selected as one of five Oklahoma educators to receive a $2,000 STEM grant given her passion for teaching. The award ceremony took place at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on April 6th, where she was accompanied by her husband Bert and grandkids Hutton Gritz, Dawson Powell, and Knox Gritz.
Mrs. Gritz plans to use the grant money to establish a simulated Forensic Lab to benefit the junior and senior students in the upcoming academic year.
