Hennessey Board of Education hired the new Softball Coach during their April 8th regular meeting. Jeneva Nelson was present and visited with the board members after the meeting. According to her resume, Nelson is currently the softball coach at Ponca City and was Named District Coach of the Year for 6a schools 2022, Named Regional Coach of the Year for OCA 2023, and had over 25 post-season awards for players over her two years of coaching at Ponca.
