Monte, his wife and daughters sacrificed throughout the years to not only continue his dad’s legacy but also to build a legacy for himself.  He loved spending any spare time with his family and looked forward to family gatherings often. He also enjoyed hunting and helping provide an opportunity for others to participate in the sport. Monte continued to farm in the Hennessey (Lacey) community until his passing.  His daughters and grandchildren plan to continue the Breckenridge farm and ranch legacy as he always dreamed. He was well respected in his community of Hennessey, and the surrounding communities as well.

Monte married Lydia Williams of Enid, on May 23, 1980, and together they enjoyed more than 43 years of marriage. To this union, they were blessed with 3 daughters.
