New parking lots around the baseball and football fields get approval to go out for bid from the Hennessey Board of Education Meeting on February 12th The new parking will be located north of the football field, in front of the baseball field where the old tennis courts were, and on the south side of the football field house. The project will be bid in two options, the north side and then the south side. Depending on how the bids come in will determine if they can do both areas or just one at a time. The lot on the north side of the football field will be built to match the existing parking for the pool and will have matching lighting. The lots will be constructed with concrete and the spaces will be made wide enough for pick-ups.
