Hennessey Firefighters braved the cold last Tuesday (January 16th) at about 8:30 am to fight a truck fire near 650 Rd. and 2930 Rd, east of Hennessey. With temps in the single digits they had to circulate the water in the trucks on the way to the fire and then keep the water moving when they arrived so it wouldn’t freeze up. The truck was a total loss and no one was injured.
