The Lady Eagles headed to OBA to try and avenge their three rivers loss to the Trojans Friday, January 12. They didn’t get out to the hot start like they did in the previous matchup though, and OBA jumped out quickly to a double digit lead. The Eagles battled it back to 24-8 as the half closed. They gained some momentum late in the 3rd and the score sat 37-20, but the Trojans would not be denied on their homecoming night, and would win 46-22.
The highly ranked Hennessey Eagles faced off against the OBA Trojans last Friday. On paper, they outmatched OBA, but relentless shooting from downtown and tough defense would be their Trojan horse if they wanted to win. At the start of the game, it seemed they slipped past the guard and caught the Eagles off footing. The boys however would slowly catch their grip and start knocking down their attempts, but OBA was waiting in the rear view at halftime, 28-19. In the 2nd half though, the Eagles made all the right adjustments, and came out to the tune of knock down three point shooting of their own courtesy of Camdyn Richardson and James Sims. OBA simply didn’t have enough, and would lose 63-35. Story by Taylor Ladwig, photos by Jude Hestand.
