Wednesday, August 9th Hennessey Department of Public Works along with the contractor Marsau Construction turned off the water to tie in the new 5-block waterline improvement. Over the past few months, Marsau has worked to replace the water main along Dunlap Street. At 9:30 they turned off the water for about 2 hours to tie in the new lines near the intersection of 6th and Dunlap. The work was scheduled late at night so it wouldn’t interfere with business and families. This improvement was paid for by a grant.
