The Hennessey school choirs performed at the Heartland Music Festival Saturday, April 22.
The 5th Grade Choir received unanimous Superior ratings, earning a Sweepstakes award. They also had an outstanding ‘Part 2’ section.
The Middle School Choir received unanimous Superior ratings, also earning a Sweepstakes award. They were also awarded with excellent Soprano and Baritone sections.
The High School Choir also received unanimous Superior ratings, earning a Sweepstakes award. They also received an award for Best Men’s Section.
At the awards ceremony inside Frontier City that night, the High School Choir was awarded Best Overall Choir! After all of their hard work performing, the groups got to spend the rest of the day having fun at Frontier City.
