BIGGEST YET!

The Hennessey 2023 Cruis’n Oklahoma Car Show was the biggest yet.  Everything worked this year, the weather, the cars, the volunteers, and after a little traffic jam at the beginning by the estimated 1000 cars and over 3000 people the event was a hit. Every business that was open was packed with customers, the restaurants were full and Hennessey’s sidewalks were wall to wall. The cars were the main attraction but the events also drew large crowds.  These included helicopter rides, drifting, ATV races, a burn-out contest, a petting zoo a children’s area, and a pop-up shop. This couldn’t be possible without the total support of our community, our police department, and especially the coordinator Tony Blackburn. Tony jumped through some very big hoops to make this event possible. The Forgotten Ministries volunteers brought an entire crew from Enid to help with the set-up and tear-down of the event. More photos and videos coming soon. Photos by Jack Quirk, Libby Seiger, and Jude Nihiser.
