Hennessey Town crews along with Liberty Lift put their crane services to work last Thursday removing the Christmas tree and installing a new flag pole at Memorial Park. The tree was a giant cedar tree brought into town by Perry Cline that was decorated with lights for the Christmas season.
The new flagpole is all aluminum and sits north of the original one that has been in place for many years. The pulley at the top of the old one has been a problem for a while making it hard to replace the flag.
