The long-awaited grand opening of the Howdy’s Travel Plaza drew a crowd at noon Saturday (2/25) for the ribbon cutting for the new business. Hennessey Mayor Bert Gritz congratulated the Riaz family, Scott Hajek, and everyone that came together to make this possible. Store owner Jay Riaz and his wife Amber Jay stood by as their son Haider cut the ribbon. Special guests at the ribbon cutting included Hennessey native Ramon Renteria with Travel OK and Oklahoma State Representative Mike Dobrinski.
