The 12thย annual Hennessey Town Wide Garage sale was a big hit this year.ย ย The event is coordinated each year by Hennesseyโs Renee Curry.ย ย Curry said, โThe weather was great but windy.ย ย It went well… many, many people from out of town.โย ย There were well over 50 garage sales and some that were not on the official published list. The event was on the same day as the schoolโs Cross Country event at the Turkey Creek Golf Course.ย ย The garage sale gave many of the participants something to do after the races.ย ย Some of the sales went on more than just Saturday.ย ย The sale is held each year on the 3rdย Saturday of September.
