Last Wednesday afternoon (July 6th), Peggy Stears was working at 4T’s Family Market when someone came in the store and told her that her car was on fire. When Hennessey Firefighters arrived, the car was fully engulfed in flames. They quickly extinguished the fire, but the car was a total loss. Peggy said, “It has been running funny but didn’t expect this.” Hennessey Police Reserve Officer Brandon McCay was on the scene and moved onlookers back away from the fire, then assisted the Firefighters.
