This 4th of July will be a big splash or a real sinker. The Hennessey Lions Club hosts the first annual Cardboard & Duct Tape Boat Races. Each team will have to build their own boat out of nothing but cardboard and duct tape. Paddles are allowed but also must be made from duct tape and cardboard. Each boat will have four members, and it will be a relay. The first two crew members paddle across the pool and get out. The second team then gets in and has to paddle to the other side. There will be several categories like Best design, the boat that sinks most spectacularly, and the fastest, just to name a few. All of the rules and details can be found at AllAboutHennessey.com
