THE CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN

The trucks started rolling into Hennessey about 7am Thursday morning, but had to pause for about an hour to wait for lighting and rain to clear the area.  By noon, they had the big top up and were getting ready for the shows.  Both the 5 and the 7:30 pm shows were well attended with Homecoming in-between.   The Circus was a fundraiser hosted by the Hennessey Lions Club.

The Hugo, Oklahoma based circus is on the road 32 weeks of the year producing shows in over 200 towns in 17 different states according to their website.  Photos by Jack Quirk
