A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Tartus L. Bush, 69. Tartus was born in Winfield, KS on February 12, 1957 to Burley Ray and Minnie Lee Kelly Bush and died Wednesday October 7, 2026, at his home in Hennessey, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Tartus worked for over forty years for Spess Oil Company.
Tartus is survived by his daughter Chasity Bush Needham of Liberal, Kansas, his sisters Johnnie Phares and husband Donny of Newalla, Oklahoma, Ocie Hartman of Conway Springs, Kansas, and Leota Tooman of Wellington, Kansas: grandson Jagger Jones, great grandson Kanen Jagger Jones both of Lubbock Texas, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Evan Bush, and one brother-in-law Jerry Tooman.
