For 34 years, the Hennessey Education Foundation has been helping local teachers provide better educational opportunities for students. Thanks to the continued generosity of the Kokojan Trust, that support is making an even greater impact in Hennessey classrooms.
The Foundation recently awarded more than $100,000 in educational grants to teachers and programs throughout Hennessey Public Schools.
Grant recipients included the Early Childhood Center, elementary teachers in first, second and third grades, physical education, elementary counseling, library and music programs, middle school and high school teachers, FFA, band and chorus.
These grants help teachers purchase classroom supplies, equipment and educational resources that might otherwise be beyond their budgets, giving students additional opportunities to learn and succeed.
The Hennessey Education Foundation’s 34-year commitment, combined with the lasting generosity of the Kokojan Trust, continues to make a meaningful difference for Hennessey teachers and students.
