The Hennessey Coronado Masonic Lodge recently conducted a can drive at Dover Elementary School. This fundraiser is held for the Dover Public School Foundation.
Students turned in a total of 2880 pounds of aluminum cans. The annual fundraiser has become a bit of a fun competition between classes. This year’s fourth grade class collected the most with first graders coming in a close second. And the third grade class was rewarded for having 100% participation.
The Dover Foundation provides yearly grants to teachers and hosts an annual academic banquet.
