The Hennessey Board of Education approved the hiring of a new agriculture education instructor during its meeting Monday, April 13.
Hannah Hamre will join Hennessey Public Schools as an FFA teacher, working alongside current instructor Jorge Huizar, who has been the instructor since 2014.
Hamre is set to graduate from Oklahoma State University in May 2026, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, General Option, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education.
Originally from California, Hamre graduated from Los Molinos High School in 2022.
The addition of a second FFA teacher is expected to support the continued growth and success of Hennessey’s agriculture program. Photo by AAH Ivan Cabral
