Thursday evening, May 14 the Hennessey High School Class of 2026 officially crossed the stage during commencement ceremonies held inside the Eagle Event Center. Family, friends, faculty, and community members packed the venue to celebrate the graduating seniors and their accomplishments.
Leading the Class of 2026 were Valedictorians Jocelyn Matousek, Kallie Rapp, Yaritsa Rascon, Tayler Franklin, Leilie Vadder, Kaden Kennedy, Kate Curran, Camdyn Lott, Brylie Haas, and Jaryn Dowell.
Honor Program Graduates included Ruby Valles, Jesi Pickle, and Emily Goff.
Class officers included Kate Curran as President, Ivonne Fraire as Vice President, Eduardo Alvarez as Secretary, Kaden Moulton as Treasurer, and Daniela Oropeza as Student Council Representative.
The Class Motto for the Class of 2026 was, “Is this due at 11:59 PM too?
The evening featured performances by the HHS Choir, remarks from school leadership, presentation of diplomas, and recognition of the 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees, Teresa Thomas Dillion and Ramon Renteria.
A special Memoriam of Jarett Smith was read by Amiliey Tuell.
