Some Oklahoma success stories don’t begin in skyscrapers or corporate boardrooms. Sometimes, they begin with a hometown connection that never fades.
Gore Energy was founded in 2001 by Seiling native Gary Gore while living in Liberal, Kansas. Just a few years later, in 2004, he brought the company home to Seiling, where it has continued to grow into a leading provider of hydraulic fracturing, acidizing and nitrogen services throughout the central United States.
Today, the Seiling-headquartered company specializes in hydraulic fracturing, acidizing and nitrogen services, with operations primarily spanning Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Colorado. And after almost 25 years, there’s still plenty of horsepower behind that growth.
Gore Energy has more than 500,000 hydraulic horsepower and eight fleets, backed by extensive specialized equipment. The company has also invested in custom-designed equipment and technology, including satellite remote data transmission that allows customers to monitor frac treatments and make decisions in real time, but equipment can only go so far.
Gore credits experienced, knowledgeable employees and a commitment to reliable service for much of its success. Safety is also built into the company’s operations, from employee orientation and mentoring to driver training, equipment maintenance, and continuing education, and now they’re looking for more great people to join the team.
The company is currently hiring Equipment Operators and Class A CDL Sand Drivers for its Foam and Slickwater Fracturing divisions. The company is also advertising a variety of additional positions through its careers page.
For those interested in the industry but without experience or a CDL, Gore also offers an entry-level Development Program designed to introduce new employees to its operations.
