The Hennessey FFA held its annual banquet on April 28th. The banquet outlined a wide range of FFA awards and recognitions that celebrated student achievement, leadership, and participation across multiple levels. Introductory degrees were awarded to students who had completed early agricultural education requirements, followed by special “Star” honors recognizing top performers who demonstrated excellence in leadership, citizenship, and involvement. More advanced degrees were presented to members who met higher standards in supervised agricultural experience and personal growth, culminating in prestigious state wide recognitions. Additional awards included proficiency awards in specialized agricultural fields, excellence awards in technical skills such as welding and fabrication, and recognition for participation and success in various competitive teams and livestock exhibitions. Recognition was given for Blue and Gold Sausage sales performance, community service, and overall contribution to chapter activities, along with honors for top-performing members and graduating seniors. The Hennessey Coronado Masonic Lodge was recognized as this year’s Honorary Chapter Degree recipient for their long-lasting support of the Hennessey FFA students.
