RedLevé Dance Studio’s Competitive Dance Team wrapped up its regional competition season with a strong showing at the Encore Dance Competition on April 11th and 12th at Rose State College. The team earned multiple top placements across group performances, duets, and solos in a range of age category’s.

In Division I Juniors (age 11), the team’s large group hip hop routine captured 1st Overall, along with the Overall Division I Junior’s High Score and an Outstanding Entertainment Award. Their small group hip hop routine also earned 1st Overall, while their small group jazz performance placed 3rd Overall.
In the Mini’s division (age 6), a small group hip hop routine took 2nd Overall, and their small group jazz routine placed 6th Overall.
In duet competition (ages 9–10), Aleissa and Anastasia earned 1st Overall with their Jazz performance. Aleissa also claimed 1st Overall in a jazz solo in the age 9 category.
Several soloists in the Division I category placed among the top finishers. In age 11, Quinn Ward placed 6th Overall with her contemporary solo and Avileny Cabral placed 8th Overall with her contemporary solo also. In age 12, Jacee secured 2nd Overall in hip hop, while in age 13, Arianna placed 6th Overall in hip hop.
In Division II solo competition, Anastasia placed 7th Overall with a jazz routine (age 9). In the age 12 category, Maesyn placed 20th Overall with her contemporary routine, and Piper earned a 10th Overall finish with her jazz routine.
The results highlight a successful close to the regional season for RedLevé’s competitive dancers. You’ll have a chance at seeing these routines at the studios dance show Saturday, May 23rd at the Hennessey High School Auditorium.
