Well… what looks like an alien spaceship rising on the west side of town is actually JLEE Co.’s newest grain bin taking shape. We’ll keep an eye on it just in case, but we’re pretty sure Earth is safe.
The impressive new structure is part of JLEE Co.’s major expansion and renovation project as the company transforms its Hennessey facility into a food-grade mung bean processing operation. In addition to the new grain bin, the project includes a remodeled warehouse and upgraded production facility designed to serve growing domestic markets.
The Wilson family recognized that changes in international trade and increased global competition would eventually affect export sales. Rather than wait, they chose to invest in the future by expanding into domestic food-grade processing, positioning JLEE Co. for continued growth while creating new opportunities here in Hennessey.
