Wednesday, May 13, the Hennessey Ministerial Alliance hosted the annual Baccalaureate Service honoring the Hennessey High School Class of 2026. Family, friends, and community members gathered for a special evening of reflection, encouragement, music, and prayer as the seniors prepare for graduation.
The service opened with a recorded processional by Allison Ferrell, followed by the invocation given by Ish Engle of First Christian Church. Jaryn Dowell led “The Lord’s Prayer (Forgive Us Our Trespasses),” and Tayler Franklin presented the scripture reading.
Jocelyn Matousek performed “Be Thou My Vision,” arranged by Faye Lopez, and Sandra Shepherd of Hennessey United Methodist Church delivered the inspirational message. Guests also enjoyed a senior slide show recognizing the graduating class.
