Hennessey 3rd graders traded tablets for tubs and recess for rope tricks during their Pioneer Days adventure on April 29. Even the rain couldn’t dampen their spirits—they still got to enjoy some fresh (muddy) air!
Inside, students got a hands-on history lesson: churning butter, weaving, baking bread, and hanging laundry the old-fashioned way. Outside, they roped like ranchers and raced in sacks like pros.
