On May 14th, the Hennessey Kindergarten class wrapped up their school year with a joyful end-of-year celebration held in the school’s outdoor classroom. With sunshine overhead and smiles all around, families and friends gathered to recognize just how much these young students have grown since the start of the year.
From learning to read and write to making new friends and mastering the classroom routine, it was a year filled with big milestones and proud moments. The celebration was a chance to reflect on those accomplishments and cheer on these little learners as they prepare to take their next step into first grade.
Guiding them along the way were Kindergarten teachers Mrs. Shimanek, Mrs. Martin, and Mrs. Russell—whose dedication, patience, and creativity helped make the year such a success. Kindergarten Principal Mrs. Stacey Mack has also been a steady and supportive presence for both students and families.
As the class of future graduates heads into summer, one thing is clear: this group of kindergartners is off to a great start. Here’s to a year of wonder, growth, and the exciting road ahead!
