On May 15th, Hennessey Elementary School wrapped up the school year with a special End-of-Year Awards Assembly, celebrating the accomplishments of their hardworking students—especially the 4th grade class as they marked a major milestone: promotion to middle school.
The gym was filled with proud parents, excited students, and plenty of applause as students were recognized for academic achievements, good citizenship, and overall growth throughout the year. The 4th graders took center stage, receiving their awards and a warm send-off as they prepare to take on the next chapter of their education journey.
A highlight of the event came when Jack Painter with the Masonic Lodge presented the prestigious “Student and Teacher of Today” awards—an annual tradition that recognizes excellence in character, leadership, and service.
The support from family and friends filled the room with energy and pride, making it a celebration to remember for these young Eagles. As they head into summer and beyond, their bright futures are just getting started.
