Teresa (Choate) Fletcher was born and raised in Hennessey, OK, by Terry Don and Charlene Choate. Teresa has a brother, Tanner Choate. Teresa was involved in Student Council, AV, Yearbook, and Drama and was a high school aide for Mrs. Gerri Russell. Teresa graduated from Hennessey High School in 2000. After graduation she went to SWOSU, then became a Certified Massage Therapist. Teresa was a Massage therapist for a few years, then returned to UCO, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies. Teresa married James (Jamie) Fletcher in 2001 and will have been married 24 years this coming July. Teresa and Jamie have two children, Lily (a sophomore at SWOSU) and Dexter (a freshman at Kingfisher High School). Teresa and Jamie have lived in Kingfisher for almost 18 years. Teresa was a stay-at-home mom until 11 years ago. She has worked at Kingfisher Public Schools for 11 years and is currently working in their IT department. Teresa is a woman of all trades. I have seen her be a Massage Therapist, Photographer, Secretary, and IT, but what I’m proud of her most is as a mom. Teresa loves being a mom and is a wonderful one at that. Lily and Dexter are supported and never doubt the love their mom has for them. Teresa is very humble. When asked to do this article, her response was, “I’m not that exciting”. If you ask anyone in the Kingfisher Schools if they have an IT question or problem, Teresa is your go-to person. Teresa has a huge heart, and will always be the first one to lend a hand. In Teresa’s free time, she loves spending time with her family. She also carries on family traditions, such as making Grandma Betty’s Popcorn Balls around Halloween. To know her is to love her and everyone should have a Teresa in their life! AAH, Shelley Muzny
