Hennessey Police and Fire along with the Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Department conducted an overnight search that started at about 11 pm on Sunday, November 3rd for a 40-year-old female. She was described as wearing a white shirt and multicolor paints and the search focused on the northwest part of Hennessey. At about 11:50 pm they called for help with a drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera.
Brandon McKay with ODRC, Oklahoma Drone Recovery Company piloted the high tech drone outfitted with a camera that can see in total darkness, detect body heat and was equipped with a spotlight. McKay flew for about an hour and located lots of wildlife, but did not locate the missing person.
The fire department and the drone were released at about 1 am but the KFSO and HPD continued to search for her throughout the early morning hours. She was found at about 4:30 am this morning (Monday). No information as to the name or where she was found has been released. Photos by AAH Jack Quirk.
