Monday, October 21, The Hennessey Fire Department held their annual awards dinner. Fire Chief, Brandon Scott recognized and presented Terry Berkenbile, James Matousek, and Dustin Munroe with 20-year service pins.
Three firefighters received promotions. Dustin Grellner and Kyle Keeton were promoted to Lieutenant, and Levi Copeland was promoted to Captain. Levi is a CPR, Fire, and EMS instructor.
The final honor went to Kyle Keeton. Kyle, who has taken on the responsibility of being the new training officer captain, was recognized for his commitment and dedication and was given Firefighter of the Year.
