Rojean Ann Jones (J.J., Jean), loving wife, mother to three boys, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 84 years old. Rojean was born June 18, 1940 in Dover Oklahoma to Roy and Betty Jean (Roy + Jean = Rojean) Beeman. Rojean was married to her High School sweetheart Donald L. Jones on June 25, 1958 after he had asked her to marry him without telling her that he had enlisted in the United States Air Force.
They had three boys, Mike, Rick and Brian. In the early years, Don was transferred almost every 4 years. They lived and traveled throughout Germany and Europe. Then returned to the states to live in Kansas, Texas, Florida and Utah. But home for mom was always Oklahoma and Kansas. Rojean was an avid reader, She loved to read. Especially those “scandalous” Romance Novels. She was a great cook feeding her 4 boys. Not an easy thing to do. (My favorite was her chicken and noodles). During The Thanksgiving and Christmas season she was always baking goodies and treats. More than humanly possible to eat.
She was surrounded by many who loved and cared for her like family at Grandwood assisted living the last few years of her life. Rojean was preceded in death by her husband Don, and sons, Mike and Brian. She is survived by her son, Rick (Jacquie) Jones of Kaysville, Utah. (Kathy Jones) wife of Brian of Oswego Kansas, seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
