The Hennessey Oklahoma Fire Department loaded up and hit the streets of our town to battle the citizens in its annual back-to-school water battle.
The streets were packed with eager youngsters, and even some parents got into the game ready to drench their heroic firefighters. This yearโs water wars marked the third year of this watery tradition, which has grown in popularity and become the talk of the town not only in Hennessey but also catching the attention of fire stations worldwide with last yearโs video.
The kids armed with garden hoses, water guns, and water balloon stations were set up all around town and were ready to strike back as the firefighters came into sight.
