Quilters from as far away as Minnesota and New Mexico traveled to Hennessey last week to attend hands-on longarm quilting workshops at Prairie Quilt.
Prairie Quilt hosted National educator Cynthia Gill from Handi Quilter, who taught workshops for both beginners and more experienced quilters looking to improve their skills. Workshops included free-motion quilt design and ruler-aided design work, as well as workshops for those wanting to learn more about the capabilities of the quilting machines, which allow for in-home use and offer extensive computerized design functions.
