Kaden Kennedy, 16 can usually be found on a shooting range practicing Trap Shooting. Kaden a junior at Hennessey High School is the son of Dennis and Shawn Kennedy. Kaden’s love for trap shooting began in 4-H with the support and encouragement from Luke Lough. Many years later Kaden has become a great shooter with numerous awards to back it up. The following are the most recent accomplishments in 2024.
- 2024 Kansas State High-Over-All C Class Champion
- 2024 Oklahoma State Event 11 C Class Doubles Champion
- 2024 Ok Junior AIM All-State Team
Kaden’s short-term goal through target shooting is to earn a scholarship to college, qualify to compete on the All-American Trap Team, and at the 4-H Nationals. Kaden aspires to become a Triple Threat Shooter (Competitive/Trap/Skeet).
Kaden not only is outstanding in trap shooting but also excels without a gun in his hand. Kaden is an active member of the Hennessey FFA. He currently holds an FFA office and competes on the Livestock Judging Team. Kaden takes all AP classes and strives to have a 4.0 GPA. He also has the goal of valedictorian in his sights.
