Graveside service for Barbara J. Moery Craun, 86, will be at 9:30 AM Wednesday July 3, 2024 at Hennessey Cemetery pavilion officiated by Pastor Mickey Moery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. The register book will be available at the funeral home; the casket will remain closed.
Barbara was born in Hennessey on June 3, 1938, to Clarence D. and Elvenia Kuver Moery and died Sunday June 30th 2024, at her daughter’s home in Oklahoma City.
She graduated from Hennessey High School in 1956. Barbara married Daniel Craun in Hennessey May 27,1956.
Barbara is survived by her two Daughters, Deborah Stratmoen and husband Lief of Moore, Dana Craun of Oklahoma City; one son, David Craun and wife Helen of Bison, grandchildren, Kenneth Tomlinson and Adrian Miracle of Oklahoma City, Kristopher and Becky Tomlinson of Oklahoma City, one great granddaughter, Anna Tomlinson of Oklahoma City, one sister Carolyn Maly of Enid; one sister-in-law Linda Craun; nieces and nephews, Michael Moery, Monty Moery, Marilyn Betchan, Buck Craun, Lori Nuzum; several great-nieces and nephews and “bonus daughter” Janie Haymaker.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Daniel Craun and brother Patrick Moery.
