The Class of 2024 at Hennessey High School bid farewell to their high school journey with a memorable graduation ceremony last Friday, May 17th. Led by a dedicated team of class officers, the students celebrated their accomplishments and shared their hopes for the future.
Tucker Goff served as the President of the class, with Kason Copeland as the Vice President, Kimber Smith as the Secretary, Karci Vadder as the Treasurer, and Avery Vendetti as the Reporter. Taryn Jech and Kadee Meeker represented the class on the Student Council.
The class chose blue plumbago as their flower and navy and silver as their colors, embodying their unity and strength. Their class motto, “Four years we’ll never forget, even if we did some things we may regret,” reflected the bittersweet moments of their high school experience.
Under the guidance of Class Sponsors Mrs. Riley Faulkner, Mrs. Raeanne Fuksa, Mrs. Jill Moery, and Ms. Amy Rawlings, the students navigated their academic and extracurricular pursuits with determination and enthusiasm.
Junior Class Escorts Esme Calderon, Katie Kennedy, Fernando Armenta, and Jessin Hardin supported their classmates throughout the year, fostering a sense of camaraderie and friendship.
The administration, led by Superintendent Mr. Jason Sternberger and Principal Mr. Joshua Faulkner, provided an environment for the students to thrive and grow.
During the ceremony, the Class of 2024 honored esteemed faculty members, recognized outstanding achievements, and bid a fond farewell to their high school years. The Valedictorians and Honor Program graduates were acknowledged for their hard work. Hall of Fame inductees Dr. Jack Collier and Mr. Hazen Marshall graced the graduation ceremony with their presence as esteemed speakers. Their words of wisdom and remarkable achievements served as inspiration for the graduating class.
The evening culminated with the presentation of diplomas by Mr. Patrick Griffin, marking the official transition of the students from high school to the next chapter of their lives. Family and friends cheered as the graduates tossed their caps in the air and celebrated with silly string spray, creating lasting memories of a night filled with pride and joy.
As the Hennessey High School Class of 2024 embarks on their individual paths, they carry with them the lessons learned, friendships forged, and dreams pursued during their time together. Congratulations to the Hennessey High School Class of 2024!
