Austin Whittenburg is a long time resident of Hennessey, having gown up here and graduating in the class of 2008. He started working at Weatherford right after his graduation and worked there for 13 years. He progressed from a swamper to a crane operator and then to a field supervisor. While he has never worked for the county, he is no stranger to equipment or dirt work, having run his own construction business, Gladiator Construction, which specializes in dirt work and land clearing, as well as serving state and government contracts.
Apart from Gladiator Construction, he also owns other businesses such as Kings Rental Equipment Rental and H-Town Car Wash. Austin is a devoted family man, married to Hannah (Means) Whittenburg, a nurse at Dr. Ferrell’s office in Hennessey, and together they have four boys, Beau, Maverick, Henry. Unfortunately, their oldest son Logan passed away in December of 2019, making his way into heaven. During that difficult time, the community showed immense support for his family, and now Austin wishes to give back to the community in the best way he knows how if given the opportunity.
Austin holds strong beliefs in God, conservative values, and the military that protects our freedom. He is a highly motivated, ambitious, and determined individual who understands the value of an honest dollar. If elected as Kingfisher County Commissioner for District 2, Austin will bring his experience, dedication, and commitment to the community. He would be honored to have your vote.
