The Hennessey golf teams had an extensive stretch of tournaments for the last 2 weeks, the boys in particular playing 6 tournaments from March 27th – April 11th. The girls playing 4. The Lady Eagles placed 19th in the Classen Classic, 18th in the Guthrie Invitational, 12th in the Dovers Invitational, and then reached their climax with Kadee Meeker taking home the individual victory at the Sayre tournament with a 94! The girls each time were led by Meeker, highlighted by her top 5 finish at Dover and her win at Sayre.
The boys placed 4th in the Cashion Tournament, with a 4th place finish by Taylor Ladwig, and an 8th by Kevin Trillo. They placed 6th at Boiling Springs, with their best finisher being Taylor shooting an 87 and tieing for 15th. They took 4th at the Frontier Invitational, Taylor shooting a 79 and tieing for 3rd, and Kevin taking 10th with an 84. They once again had two top 10s, with Trillo getting 7th at the Luther tournament with an 82, and Taylor taking 10th with an 85. Then, once again their last tourney reached a climax, as Kevin Trillo shot a 2 over 72 and a 4 shot tournament win, with Taylor shooting a 79 and taking 6th.
