Friday night at about 11 pm Hennessey Firefighters responded to a windblown fire just east of the intersection of Hwy 51 & N Mitchell Rd. The fire quickly moved from the highway to the south on the east side of the school’s bus barn driven by cold 25 mph winds. Hennessey Police assisted with traffic control and walked in to assist the firefighters. No structures were involved and no injuries were reported. Photo by AAH Jack Quirk
