Hennessey schools paused Friday (November 10th) to honor our veterans. The Hennessey Choir performed the National Anthem as the 10 Hennessey veterans were escorted into the auditorium followed by the presentation of the Colors.
Raeanna Fuksa Presented the History of Veterans Day, and then the 5th – 8th grade Choir sang “We Honor You.” Fernando Armenta introduced Rev Ish Ingle as the featured speaker followed by a slide presentation featuring all of Hennessey’s Veterans.
After the assembly, all of the Veterans were treated with snacks and thank you letters from students. Photos by Jack Quirk
