On Monday, October 23rd, 9 Hennessey students traveled to Elk City, OK to participate and perform in Western Oklahoma Choir Directors Association Honor Choir Festival. Students auditioned in September. The students accepted into the High School choir were Cameron Griffin, Jude Hestand, Jaret Matthews, Jenna Hladik, and Jayden Hladik. Students accepted into the Junior High choir were Barrit Hardin, Asher Ward, JoHanna Matousek, and Saydee Humphries.
Students spent the day rehearsing with their respective clinicians, perfecting their songs for the concert that evening. The concert consisted of songs from the All State audition repertoire, helping to further prepare students for those auditions this Saturday. Story and photos by Jude Hestand.
