We see you fall! And we welcome you! Time to bust out the flannels and all the pumpkin and spice! You’ll see what we did there when ya check out these recipes. Two simple, shortcut cake mix recipes sure to satisfy your fall cravings.
1) Cinnamon Chip Pumpkin Muffins:
-1 box yellow cake mix
-1 15 oz can pumpkin (not pie filling)
– half cup of water
– half to full bag of cinnamon chips
Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients. Spoon into a mini muffin pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes..
2) Spiced Banana Bread
– 1 box spiced cake mix
– 4 overripe bananas
– quarter to half cup of water (just enough to smooth out consistency)
– half a bag of white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mash bananas then combine all ingredients. Pour into a loaf pan. Bake for 45-60 minutes or until done.
These are the recipes used in the pictures. But, y’all, the possibilities are endless!! You can use practically any cake mix flavor! Any add-ins (ie mini chocolate chips, butterscotch, heath chips, etc). You can also experiment with different cake/bread/muffin pans. Be sure and adjust baking times accordingly.
