Hennessey Firefighters responded to a controlled burn that got away near the intersection of S. Mitchell Rd and Exxon Road Saturday evening. The storm carrying 100 mph winds brought down several large trees in this yard that were being buried. The south wind helped to carry the fire to the north into the trees near the creek. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire before it spread any further.
