Hennessey Firefighters were called out to a tank battery fire at about 2:30 am on Sunday, August 6th after a thunderstorm rolled through the area. Lightning struck the tank battery located approximately 2 miles west of Hennessey on E630 Rd. (W 7th St.) Hennessey was assisted by Dover Fire Department who brought their tanker truck. The crews cleared the scene at about 5:30 am that morning.
